This study reveals the potential for religious harmony, adaptation strategy, potential conflict, and its resolution in Pasuruan. This study used qualitative descriptive analytic methods, with a phenomenological approach. This research aims to reveal the dynamic internal relation on religious harmony especially in Syi’ah community and Tengger society. The results of this study concluded, among others that the potential for harmony in Pasuruan is achieved due to the mutual cooperation between religious communities and social respect for cultural differences. As for potential conflict and religious cases that occurred are around the disparity of understanding in internal religious community.
